Asthma Coalition of Texas
The mission of the Asthma Coalition is to optimize the health and quality of life for Texans with asthma by: - Informing health care providers, patients and families about evidence based guidelines and state of the art care for asthma, the burden associated with asthma, myths about the disease, and barriers to care.
- Promoting research to improve delivery of asthma care.
- Collaborating with groups to improve indoor and outdoor air quality.
- Sharing asthma resources with physicians, patients and asthma caregivers.
- Acting as advocates to promote rules, policies and laws that advance the vision of the Coalition, "Texans with asthma will enjoy optimal health and quality of life".

San Antonio Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society
The mission of the San Antonio Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society is to promote and deliver the best possible medical care to the allergic, asthmatic, or immunologically-deficient patient by the most competent qualified allergists/immunologists in the South Texas area. Further, to disseminate knowledge to the public concerning modalities in diagnosis and treatment of asthma, allergic, and immunologic diseases and to caution the public concerning unethical and unscientific measures utilized by some in the treatment of these individuals.
